Start pre-training in India

1. Dutch course in a healthcare context by Flemisch teachers of IVV

   Group = ± 20 students

   The candidate need to reach level 2.1 of Dutch after 3 months of language course (September), if the level of Dutch is not sufficient, the possibility exists that the candidate cannot proceed the Aurora training program.

2. Learn and assessment (LEA) procedure - Portfolio → several assessments

Goal

• level Dutch 2.4 (B1)

• level Healthcare Assistant

  => Both needed to start the HBO5 nurse training and to start working as a Healthcare Assistant

• Work as a Healtcare assistant

  Employers contract of 80%

• Study for certified Nurse

  Theory and practical lessons at IVV Sint-Vincentius

  Internal internschip by employer (paid internship)

  External internschip in homecare and a hospital

• Dutch language lessons

  Cooperation between school IVV Sint-Vincentius and CVO (Centre for Adult Education).
