At Chinta vzw, we actively recruit Indian Certified nurses and provide them with a comprehensive training program. Our goal? To transform them into Certified European HBO5 Nurses who can contribute effectively to the Flemisch (elderly) Healthcare sector.

What is the reciprocity model?

A model for the economic migration of foreign-trained healthcare professionals involves partners committing to fill high-demand vacancies in healthcare, by actively recruiting from non-EU countries. In puirsuit of this goal, an ethical reciprocal model is being developed for the three stakeholders: the country of origin, Flanders and the candidate himself.

The key objectives include: sharing expertise, implementing an active diversity policy and upholding the right to health.

What kind of training is given to the selected recruits?

There is a free 6 months training program in Kochi, Kerala from July till December. This include an intensive Dutch language course to B1 level. Along with the language course there are introduction lessons on Belgian Geriatric care, Psychiatric care and Western healthcare model.

After a successfully finish of the training in Kerala, the candidates starts a 1 year training in Belgium in combination with work. The candidates continue the Dutch language course in combination with working as a Healthcare assistant.

The candidate achieve the degree of Registered nurse in Europe if successfully passed the training program.
